Protection Gloves for Motocyclists Norm UNE EN 13594
Motorcyclists gloves are conceived to protect the users against ambient conditions without reducing the users´ dexterity and the capacity to use the controls and switches of the motorcycle. Besides, the gloves are conceived to provide mechanical protection to the hands and wrists in case of accident.
It is intended that the motorist gloves that conform this Normative have the following functions:
- To provide a comfortable grip on the motorcycle controls.
- To protect the hands against ambient conditions such as wind, cold, light rain and dirt.
- To provide some protection from injuries in accidents.
Injury protection provided by the gloves:
- Abrasion resistance:the abrasion time may be at least 2,5 s.
- Cut resistance: ethe minimum index of cut resistance according to Norm EN 388: 1994 may be at least 2,2.
- Impact protection Impacts on the hands in motorcycle accidents vary from trivial to very severe.
