Fire-fighters Protection - Norm UNE EN 659:2004 
This Norm establishes the test methods and the protection criterion for these gloves intended for the protection of fire-fighters against heat and flames. It also defines several minimal conditions:
- Abrasion resistance: protection level at least 2 .
- Cut resistance: protection level at least 2 .
- Tear resistance: protection level at least 2 .
- Penetration resistance: protection level at least 2 .
- Ignition resistance: protection level at least 4 .
- Resistance to convective heat: protection level at least 3 .
- Resistance to contact heat: protection level at least 2 .
- Resistance to radiant heat: it must be indicated in the data sheet as well.
- The inner glove material must not ignite, melt nor drip.
- The glove must have a minimum lengh:
